TEARA's Relay for Life Activities on April 2nd, 2005

A TEARA Special Event Station was on the air, April 2nd 2005!

TEARA - Triangle East ARA ran a special event station with club callsign of WA4UQC, from 14:00 gmt April 2 to 20:00 gmt on April 2, 2005. This commemorated the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life fund raiser in Zebulon, NC. Operating frequencies were confined to 20m due to antenna problems, but the show went on!

Operations were on Vance Street in Zebulon, held inside of a newly constructed brick building on 106 East Vance St due to rain (as opposed to outside as originally planned).

Special Event Certificates are available via 8 1/2" x 11" sase (for unfolded certificate) or 6" x 9" sase (folded certificate). Photos of the open house and info about funds raised can be found on the Fund Raiser Event Page.
