***10/17/26, 12:48pm *** LOTS more work completed in the TDXA/Club Stuff sections for TDXA Coverage, About TDXA, Coming Contests, How This Works, DX-Talker, and updated the membership application.

The Club Bylaws were updated for ARRL affiliation, and updates submitted to the ARRL.

I talked to the previous trustee for the club callsign and got lots of good info, including about our 501(C)3 status.

Several updates were made to the DXing Goodies page.

The entire site was updated to reflect out FOTA affiliation.

An update made to the Repeater Bulletins page.

***10/8/26, 10:08am *** Everything is now repaired, verified, and operational on the TEARA website. Many sections will be growing in the coming days, as the "Club Stuff" section is getting a complete overhaul. I have all "Under Construction" pages turned off until ready for launch, to hopefully minimize confusion. Updates for Club 501C3 Status, ARRL Status, Club Callsign for the repeater are in progress. Keep an eye on Club Bulls and Repeater Bulls for updates. Upward and onward!

***10/6/26, 3:51am *** Repairs and verification completed on the TEARA Member's Webpage listings, the Amateur Satellite page, the Spread Spectrum page, the VHF/UHF/SHF Weak Signal Page, and the Vintage Radio Page. All of the website's link pages are completed...as far as I can find :-) The FCC/License Info section is pretty much debugged, gotta update the VE team info.

New Club Meeting Location

The TEARA club meeting is held at Wendell United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall 129 N. Main Street, Wendell, NC 27591

If you're using a GPS navigator, the coordinates that will take you right to the driveway are:

35Deg 47Min 02.29sec N, 78Deg 22Min 12.18sec W

Simplist location coordinates: at the intersection of Bus. US 64 and N. Main Street. Brown bag food is allowed. The Fellowship Hall is open when the key arrives about 6:30 (1830 hours).

Talk-in for any of the meetings is on the following repeaters : 147.39+ PL 88.5

New Club Meeting Location

The TEARA club meeting is to be held at Scootworks on Vance Street in Zebulon, beginning with the July 2011 meeting. Check the [Club Meetings] link in the [Club Stuff] section of this website.

Website updates - 10/10/10

The website has received more updates, including repairs to the RF Safety Calculator and the addition of several RF Calculating tools to the "Knowledge Quest" section of the site. Additionaly, a Ham Radio News ticker has been added to most all pages on the site, to allow you to catch up-to-the-minute bulletins from the ARRL, QRZ, and eHam. 2005 Field Day

Field Day in 2005 was held at the city park in Wendell on June 25-26. This event was open to all amateur radio operators. Fun was had by all, and event pics are forthcoming. 2006 Field Day is just around the corner!

A TEARA Special Event Station was on the air, April 2nd 2005!

TEARA - Triangle East ARA ran a special event station with club callsign of WA4UQC, from 14:00 gmt April 2 to 20:00 gmt on April 2, 2005. This commemorated the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life fund raiser in Zebulon, NC. Operating frequencies were confined to 20m due to antenna problems, but the show went on!

Operations were on Vance Street in Zebulon, held inside of a newly constructed brick building on 106 East Vance St due to rain (as opposed to outside as originally planned).

Special Event Certificates are available via 8 1/2" x 11" sase (for unfolded certificate) or 6" x 9" sase (folded certificate).
