FIELD DAY 1999

Teara's 1999 Field Day Exercise

Our FD Operation with FCARC

In an effort to make this page load more quickly, I've installed some of the images to be accessed through hypertext links. Click on these photos for a larger version that is much easier to see!

To the right, you'll see the site for the 1999 TEARA Field Day activities. It was held in the beautiful settings of the 145.11 repeater, owned by Rodger KD4MYE.

There were loads of folks from both clubs present, as well as visitors from many surrounding clubs.

The wx was great for the event..it was a bit overcast for part of the activity, but cleared up later and we all had a wonderful time. Food was supplied on site, and we all ate until we needed a nap :-)

We operated all bands from 160 through 440, and got to experience many new modes to some of us.

Not many photographs were taken of this event by me, so I can't do it justice by any means. FCARC KNOWS how to host Field Day, and I'd recommend visiting and participating in Field Day with them at any opportunity. The FCARC club is full of wonderful people, who are always happy to open their arms to visitors at Field Day or any of their other activities!
